What data Centres exist on island or in the region? What cloud providers are used to host solutions?
I’ve heard some use Linode, Cloudflare has good serverless options and the big 3 don’t have any regions in the Caribbean so curious to understand what is the go to for banks, government and other local clients.
As far as I’m aware data centers services are provided by the telecoms companies in the region i.e Flow & Digicel as part of their business solutions packages.
As far as hosting on island @Solomon @Aner_Alexander may be ones with insights given that’s their specific experises.
Me personally I chose hosting from the US with datacenters in Phoenix Arizona, New York and Los Angeles.
There are no major data centers offering services to external client. However various businesses have their own mini “data centers” where they host their own servers and equipment. The telco providers like Digicel and Flow, along with the Government has facilities that I know of which are up to international standards.
