Will cross-platform apps on the app store overtake native apps?
I belive this is something that rests on the enduser preference, as for overtaking native apps I don’t think so given native apps are able to use the device cpu and gpu more effectively that the hybrid apps.
That is until they come up with AI technology that figures out how best to configure itself based on the platform… that would be groundbreaking I think.
AI adoption has made quite an impact in the tech space but it’s arguable of the validity of the code structures and when it will be the main goto source for such developments.
Honestly can’t say for certain. With the rate at which technology is advancing I could easily see cross-platform apps taking over, take flutter for example, flutter apps run natively compiled code, but it’s not quite there in certain aspects.
